I love a good snow day! And even as I sit here and type it is coming down like crazy outside. This doesn't happen too often in the South so we are loving it. Lia Kate and I are watching it fall while Britton naps. Lia Kate is from a tropical area in China, so I'm certain this is her first real snow. Yippee for her. We're enjoying our snow day ... already played outside, tossed a few snowballs, and eaten snow ice cream. Just look at these adorable little snow bunnies...
The back of our house when the snow first started falling.

August 2009 We decide to pursue a special needs child and begin reviewing files here and there.
October 21, 2009 We get Lia Kate's file and know she is ours! Send off our LOI (Letter of Intent) to adopt her.
October 27, 2009 We get Pre-Approval (PA) from the Chinese government to adopt Lia Kate!
November 16, 2009 Our Letter of Approval (LOA) came saying we are approved to adopt Lia Kate! We waited only 3 1/2 weeks to get it ... crazy fast. Hoping to leave for China in December.
